Ela Koinonia is turning 3 this weekend! We can hardly believe it’s been three years since we got on this amazing journey. As we look back, our hearts are full of awe and gratitude for everything God has done. This anniversary is the perfect time to celebrate our wins, recognize where we can grow, and thank God for being our strong rock through it all. His faithfulness has been our guide every step of the way.
Just a while ago, we also celebrated another milestone – two years since our ordination as Pastors. Reflecting on that moment, we can’t help but be amazed at God’s work in our lives. The verse that has anchored us throughout this time is Psalm 23:5-6: ‘You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.’ These words have been a powerful source of strength and hope, reminding us of God’s never-ending love and provision through all the ups and downs.
We also find encouragement in Isaiah 40:31: ‘But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.’ This verse inspires us to keep pushing forward, knowing that God renews our strength daily. Another favorite is Jeremiah 29:11: ‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ These promises reassure us that God has a wonderful plan for our ministry.
As we mark these special moments, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for every one of you who has been with us on this journey. Your support, prayers, and presence mean the world to us. He started this incredible journey, and we know He will see it through to the end.
We pray that God empowers us to make a big impact as we keep following His call. Proverbs 3:5-6 says it best: ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.’ Another verse we hold dear is Philippians 1:6: ‘Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.’ Our goal is to stay humble, seek wisdom from above, and honour God in every part of our lives and ministry. We’re committed to finishing well for His glory, knowing that with His guidance, we can touch many lives.
Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Here’s to many more years of growth, love, and serving God together!
Consider this Please consider writing to us! We’d love your ideas and comments on how we can make Ela Koinonia better. And remember, we’re here to pray for you! So, send us your prayer requests too. |

Commandments – Part 1
There is a general tendency to overlook the ten commandments because it is found in the old testament of the Bible. These are beneficial laws given by God to show us how to live a better life. Re-introducing God and His titles
“Who is God to you?”“What is the first picture that hits your head?”“Is it of a man with a hallow?”Or… “Do you picture a king on the throne?” “What come into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us,”—wrote A. W. Tozer in hisbook ‘The Pursuit of God’. The self-taught theologian […]
