Besides being famous for building an ark that preserved himself, his family and representatives of every land animal from the great flood, Noah is known for his obedience. He had an unwavering faith in God–so much that he did not question God when he was asked to build the ark. Surely, there were people who mocked him but he stood firm on what he was asked to do. Noah followed every instruction that given to him by God; never leaned on his own understanding but trusted the Heavenly Father even for the dimensions of the ark.
“By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith, he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.”– Hebrews 11:7
A hero of faith, Noah is also a great example for walking in righteousness. Like Noah, can we also trust and obey God without doubt or questions?
