While we were quarantined in Singapore for 14 days, food was brought to our room since we were not allowed to step out. Sometimes the food we got was ice cold and tasteless. We have nothing to complain about, but we craved for tasty food. In Thailand, we couldn’t order in food, but could in Singapore, so this was definitely a luxury for us. It was during our search for restaurants that we found one which had some lovely reviews. Unfortunately, we couldn’t order the food delivery app for some reason. So, we got in touch with the owner of the restaurant, Arun Paul. He immediately said that the food will be delivered to us and that we could make the payments post our quarantine period.
He always ensured that we got hot and delicious food; he catered to the palate of Judah and Sairah too as they preferred non-spicy food. And, this was not a one-time service; he had food delivered to us three times during our quarantine.
I firmly believe that Arun was truly God-sent for us during those initial 14-days of being locked up in a room. His act of kindness reminded us how much God loves us and that He even took care of our tiny desires; how He was concerned about the intricate details of our lives. If ever you are in Singapore and enjoy a good curry, you wouldn’t want to miss Kaayaloram restaurant.
