Dear Heavenly Father,
Happy Father’s Day to You!
In my highs and lows, You’ve always been there,
In my deepest loneliness and toughest sorrows,
Even when words failed me,
You understood the silent cries of my heart.
You crafted me with tender care,
With hands that sculpted the stars,
You knit me together in my mother’s womb,
Every thread of my being woven by Your creativity.
You held me close when no one else did,
Your embrace a sanctuary when the world felt cold.
You knew me before the dawn of my existence,
Before I drew my first breath, You had already whispered my name.
Thank You for the gift of my earthly father,
For placing him as a reflection of Your love in my life.
Through him, I’ve caught glimpses of Your heart,
Seen the shadow of Your strength and patience.
Thank You for stepping into the gaps,
For being the strength when he faltered,
For understanding me in ways he sometimes couldn’t,
For speaking to my soul when he fell silent,
Your voice a soothing balm to my restless spirit.
Though I’ve strayed and turned away,
Chasing shadows in the fleeting night,
You never ceased Your pursuit.
With relentless love, You ran after me,
Your eyes always watching, Your heart always open.
Thank You, Father, for always being there,
For Your love that knows no bounds,
For Your grace that renews me each day,
For the light You shine on my path,
And the peace You bring to my soul.
In You, I find my true home,
A Father whose love is eternal.

I’ve been thinking about what makes a great dad. I always tried to find all the perfect attributes in my earthly father. He’s been awesome, but at the end of the day, he’s human. There have been more than one instance when he couldn’t really understand or help me. That’s when God, my perfect Heavenly Father, steps in.
God’s love is like a cozy blanket, woven with the ultimate sacrifice of His Son, Jesus. Jesus’ sacrifice shows us a love that heals the world’s brokenness, bringing redemption and hope to everyone. It’s the ultimate example of what true fatherhood looks like.
God sets the bar for being an amazing dad: strong, faithful, and always there. He calls us to mirror His love, not just to our kids and families, but to everyone we meet. His example pushes us to lead with compassion, integrity, and unwavering faith.
